

Nu-Seal™ Service Terms and Conditions

1.
Definitions
-
Nu-Seal™ – A professionally applied sealer selected and installed by Nu Life Stone Care Pty Ltd, suitable to the identified stone type, designed to assist in protecting the surface against moisture and staining.

Client / You / Your – The person, company, or entity purchasing or receiving the Nu-Seal™ service.

We / Us / Our – Nu Life Stone Care Pty Ltd, including our registered technicians and agents.
-
Service Period – Three (3) years from the date of Nu-Seal™ application.
-
Stone Surface – Natural or engineered stone to which the product has been applied.
2.
Scope of Service
Nu-Seal™ includes:
-
Assessment and preparation of the surface.
-
Application of an appropriate premium sealer selected by Nu Life Stone Care Pty Ltd.
-
A workmanship warranty for three (3) years covering failure of the seal due to application error.
This service does not guarantee stain-proofing. Rather, it aims to reduce the likelihood of deep staining and make routine maintenance easier.
3.
Warranty Inclusions
Subject to compliance with care instructions:

The surface will remain reasonably resistant to moisture and staining under normal residential conditions.

We will reapply Nu-Seal™ at no cost within the 3-year term if failure is due to poor application or workmanship by us.
4.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
-
Improper cleaning methods or use of acidic, abrasive, or corrosive products.

Natural etching from acids (e.g. citrus, vinegar) on susceptible surfaces like marble.
-
Impact damage, scratches, chips, cracks, or structural movement of stone.
-
Discolouration from UV exposure or chemical reactions unrelated to the sealer.
-
Reapplication or removal of other sealers not applied by us.
-
Surfaces not originally sealed by Nu-Seal™.
-
Commercial, industrial, or outdoor installations (unless agreed in writing).
-
Acts of negligence, misuse, or deliberate damage.
5.
Care Obligations
To maintain the benefits of this service:

Use pH-neutral cleaners only.
-
Wipe spills promptly.
-
Avoid placing hot pots or using harsh chemicals directly on sealed surfaces.

Follow all care instructions provided at time of service or on our website.
6.
Liability Limitation
To the extent permitted by law:

We shall not be liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect loss, including lost use, value depreciation, or aesthetic dissatisfaction.

Our total liability under this agreement shall not exceed the original cost of the Nu-Seal™ service paid by you.
This does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
7.
Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. You are entitled to:

A reservice or refund for major failure, and
-
Compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
For minor failures, you are entitled to a reservice within a reasonable time.
8.
Claim Process
To make a claim:

Contact Nu Life Stone Care Pty Ltd via the Nu-Cover Iwarranty platform within 7 days of noticing a potential issue.

Provide proof of purchase, photographs, and a description of the concern.

Allow access to inspect and assess the issue.
If the issue is covered, we will reapply Nu-Seal™ to the affected area.
9.
Transferability
This warranty is tied to the original service address and is not transferable to subsequent property owners unless agreed in writing at the time of sale.
10.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of Queensland courts.
